Sustainability
Encouraging new clients to adopt a sustanability commitment and helping current clients promote their environmental values, has been a long journey at Beauchamp Group. In the early 90's, we researched ways to help our bio-materials client tell their story of "taking only what is needed for human health" and giving back to the planet.
Interpore International developed coral as a replacement for cancellous bone to return atheletes with severally damaged bones to a competitive level, rather than just a dignified way of life. We used a new recycled paper for their annual report made from seaweed harvested from the canals of Venice, Italy in an eco-clean up campaign.
Giving back is a story worth retelling.
We promoted Unisource's Green program in a brochure to tell about their FSC - Forest Stewardship Certification and how every print specifier can become part of a reduced carbon footprint commitment.
Forest City Development's Stapleton project required an information kiosk at their 29th Avenue Town Center. We suggested 90% recycled airplane parts from a salvage yard on the edge of their property to tell the story of the former Denver airport and its new sustainable neighborhoods.
Designing with "Green in Mind" is part of our team's DNA and with awareness, more of our future client partnerships.
